1985 Integrated from the start by: Charly D. Lopez (vocals), Gustavo Rea (bass), Gustavo "Tycho" Artigas (guitar), Clement "Bhil" Lopez (guitar) - who left the group in '88 entering Leonardo Lamela (guitar) and Jorge Villar (drums), he developed his debut in Montevideo

1986 recorded their first demo, including the song "Fields of Blood", and reminded participants of the International Festival ROCK MONTEVIDEO successfully
1987 Signed with the Orfeo label and recorded their first album on vinyl: the Brink . The presentation of the album was made sold out at the Odeon Theatre of Montevideo. With this work Alvacast
runs inside the country and stands as an important number in the "
Uruguayan rock" at that time.
1987 Alvacast transcends borders: Presented in Buenos Aires in the series "Rock Trial" (which acted Charly García, Riff , Tower , entre otros), para hacerlo luego en el Teatro Roca en noviembre junto a Kamikaze de Argentina .
1988 Para ese año la banda se consolida. La prensa especializada de diferentes partes del mundo reconoce el trabajo y calidad de la banda. Revistas de Europa comentan sus discos y actividades.
Participan en
Montevideo Rock II. Realizan algunas presentaciones en pubs y clubes en Buenos Aires durante todo el año. They work with Dr. Jekyll, Retrosatan and Hermetic among others. "In December '88 travel to Chile which are presented in capital Santiago de Chile and perform two shows, spectacular and commented by the press in the Trans Estadio Chile to more than four thousand (4,000) people.
1989 recorded their second album Innocent ... Until proven otherwise also by the Orfeo label records.La good impact of the band in Argentina made Radio Alvacast Tripoli was interested in and edited the group's second album Argentina. We also publish his two albums with Chile and Venezuela.Tocan Rata Blanca, Lethal , Alakran and Jaf in the Argentina nightclub Halley.
1990 Besides becoming the first Uruguayan to play in group the Obras Sanitarias Stadium in Buenos Aires , fill it.

Years in Canada
1992 After trying versioning your songs in English and after publishing a limited number of discs in the U.S. decide the journey. The band decided to fully migrate to Canada . Debuted at Station 10 in Montreal , and gradually try to overcome the difficulties of the new medium. While "survive" alone in Montreal Canada and started doing shows in small pubs, in Uruguay the third paper is published: Alvacast For Collectors Perro Andaluz is a compilation of tapes recorded in Montevideo.
Achieve 1993 shows a good average, equating to local bands. Are interviewed by the chain videos Much Music recorded what would be the video for "Innocent ... Until demueste is otherwise."
1994 released their fourth album for Uruguay Black Testaments published by the label "Sondor." Alvacast remains active until the end of '94. are dissolved and reunited twice, one of them even a momentary departure from their original vocalist Charly Lopez.

Farewell
1999 Alvacast made their last "farewell shows" in Canada and Uruguay a finales de ese año. En Montreal fue en el Jailhouse Rock Cafe el 21 de noviembre. En Montevideo - Uruguay la despedida final y último show de la banda fue en La Factoría frente a 1.000 personas junto a los amigos del grupo Chopper el 29 de diciembre de 1999 cerrando un ciclo en la vida de éstos 5 grandes músicos.
