History
emerge around 1986 in the south with the name "The Chancha Francisca" with the new move of the rock. His first appearance before mass audience was in the Montevideo Rock I in the Prado. At first the proposal contained theatrical elements. The
'87 participated in the bands contest organized by El Dorado FM culminating in a mega concert on May 25 called "Rock in the Palace."
After Montevideo Rock II comings and goings between the censorship of the song "The President", was published in 1990 "Eggplants also bounce." In 1994
edited "Nena (We're not there)" and in 1997 out the first CD "God does not want things sows." In 1998
participating in the Rock of Here II, being at that point almost a cult band. This year's training: Juan Berbejillo, Yonny (drums), Javier Lopez (bass and vocals), Diego Lorza (sax and vocals), Fabian Garcia (tenor sax), Inés Brega (voice) Alejandro Mariatti (voice), Osvaldo Dufour (guitar), Toppo Perez (vocals and accessories) is dissolved and Yonny founders, John and Lee formed a trio with the name "The Chancha."
The trio transforms sound into more rough and tough as well begin to produce, make and sell their own works on the periphery of the record label.
The result of this stage is "all want to be part of the show" (2000 ) sold in an alternative and made publicly available in MP3 format through the web.
The following work with similar characteristics appears in the 2002 with the name "Bread and Circus", which is presented in May at the Chamber Zitarrosa.
His latest work, "Nothing is lost" recorded between October and November 2003 contains the band's history, photos, interviews, all in MP3 format discs and rarities.
